Emporium is a borough and the county seat of Cameron County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It is located 100 miles (160 km) west-northwest of Williamsport. Early in the twentieth century, there were large power plants and manufacturers of radio tubes and incandescent lamps. In 1900, 2,463 people lived in Emporium, and in 1910, the population was 2,916. By 2010 the population had dropped to 2,073, and at the 2020 census, thePopulation was 1,961. The borough is located in northern Cameron County at 41°3041N 78°1411W (41.511288, -78.236418). It is in the valley of the Driftwood Branch of Sinnemahoning Creek, flowing southeast towards the West Branch Susquehanna River. Pennsylvania Route 120 passes through the borough, leading southeast 18 miles (29 km) to Driftwood and eventually Lock Haven and Williamsport, and west 19 miles (31km) to St. Marys on the Eastern Continental Divide. The median income for a household in the borough was $32,468, and the median age for a family was $46,544. About 10.7% of families and 16.3% of the population were below the poverty line, including 27.7 percent of those under age 18 and 11.9% of those age 65 or over. According to the United States Census Bureau, EmporIUM has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.9 km²), of which 0.69 square miles of land and 0.1 km², or 5.51%, is water.

Emporium is located in northern Cameron County at 41°3041N 78°1411W (41.511288, -78.236418). It is in the valley of the Driftwood Branch of Sinnemahoning Creek, flowing southeast towards the West Branch Susquehanna River. According to the United States Census Bureau, Emporium has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.9 km²), of which 0.69 square miles of it is land and 0.04 sq miles (0.1 km²) is water. The borough is located on Pennsylvania Route 120, leading southeast 18 miles (29 km) to Driftwood and eventually Lock Haven and Williamsport, and west 19 miles (31km) to St. Marys on the Eastern Continental Divide. Pennsylvania Route 46 leads northwest from emporium 27 miles (43 km) and Pennsylvania Route 155 leads north 24 miles (39 km) into Port Allegany, both of which communities are in the Allegheny River basin. The town has a population of 1,071 (as of the 2010 U.S. Census), with the majority of its residents living in or near the town of Emporia. The city is located near the Pennsylvania Turnpike, which runs through the town. It is located at 41.3041 N 78.1411 W, and has a latitude of 41.51 1288. It has a longitude of 78.23 64, and its longitude is 41.43 64.

There were 1,140 housing units at an average density of 1,628.6 per squaremile (636.2/ km²) The racial makeup of the borough was 98.1% White, 0.5% African American, 0,4% Native American,0.4% Asian, and 0.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0,6% of the population. The median income for a household in the Borough was $32,468, and the median income. for a family was $46,544. The borough is located on the New Jersey Turnpike, which runs from New Jersey to New Jersey. It is the only borough in the state to have its own post office, which opened in 1881. The post office is open seven days a week, seven days per week. It has a population of 2,068. It was the first post office to open in 1883. The last post office closed in 1891. The current post office opened on July 1, 1894.

A micronation, the Republic of Wamong, is located inside Emporium, and claims land in the city. It claims land from the city's owner, the City of Emporion. The Republic is currently in its third year of existence. It was founded by a group of merchants from Emporiam. It is now in its fourth year of being in existence, and its first year of independence. It has a population of 1,000,000 people, or 1.5% of the city’s total population. It also claims land inside the city, which is called Wamong by the inhabitants of the area. It's also in its second year of its existence, but its territory is not yet known. The republic was founded in the year of the year 2,000. The capital of the Republic is Wamong. It lies in the center of the town, in the area known as Wamong City, and it claims land outside the city as well as inside Wamong itself. The city is also known as the City Of Wamong and Wamong is the capital city of the Wamong Micronation. Its population is 1,100,000 or 1,500,000; it is located in the heart of the capital, Wamong city. Its capital is also called W among, or Wamong Town, and is located outside Wamong in the north. It claimed land in Wamong County, and in the east of the county, as part of its land claims.
