The city is located on the Iowan erosion surface. Drivers on I-380 experience an abrupt transition from the muted topography of the Iowan surface to the rolling hills of the Southern Iowa drift plain, four miles south of NorthLiberty. History

The North Liberty area was first settled in 1838 by John Gaylor and Alonzo C. Dennison. According to the 2010 U.S. census the population of North Liberty had increased to 13,374, making it the second-fastest growing city in the United States, after Dyersville, Iowa. The North Liberty Community Library [1] was founded, and Penn Meadows Park, the city's largest, was opened. In 1984, in response to the population growth, the North Liberty community library was founded. By 2000, the town had established its own police and fire departments and built a community center with library and aquatic park, as well as a city administration building. It has since established a community centre with community center, aquatic park and community center. The town has also built a city hall, police station, fire department, and administration building, and has its own public library. The Very LongBaseline Array is the largest radio array in the world. It covers an area of 2,000 square miles (3,000 km) and has a wavelength of 1,800 miles (2,500 km). It has been dubbed the "VLBA Array" because of its large size and location in the north of the United States. It also has a diameter of about 2,500 feet (800 meters) and a reflectivity of around 1,500 watts (1.2 million meters) It is located at 41°46 17.13 N 91° 3426. 88W; its designation is "NL" The telescope has a sensitivity of about 0.4 cm (0.3 mm) and is located near the town of North liberty, North Carolina, at a distance of about 3 miles (5 kilometers) from the city of Liberty. It was built in the 1970s and is the first radio telescope to be built in North Carolina and the first in the state.

Notable person

Jean Prahm, Olympic bobsledder from Germany, is a former Olympic gold medalist. He is known for his role in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He was a member of the German Olympic team in the 1976 and 1980 Winter Games. He also competed in the 1988 and 1992 Olympics in the men's and women's 4x4 events. He died in a car accident in 2010. He has a daughter and a son, both of whom are in the U.S. military. He had a son and a daughter-in-law who are also in the United States, and a step-son who is in the Netherlands. He's also the father of a daughter, who is a U.N. official in the Middle East. He served in the German army in the 1980s and 1990s, and was awarded the Order of Merit for his service in the Second World War. His son is also a member, and he served with him in the military in the 1990s and 2000s. His daughter is also an Olympic medalist, in the 4X4 event in the women's bobsleigh. She is now in her late 60s and 70s and has been married twice. She has a son who is also part of the Olympic team, in 2006 and 2008.
